The market in the 90s was run on the basis of the export of piglets infected with sneezing disease and dysentery. In order to minimize transport costs, Porc-Ex A/S has the first 5 covered trailers built by a wagon builder in Spain with approx. 160 m2 floor area, which was an unheard-of way of thinking at the time, but which today is standard for the majority of piglet transports on the market.
